Earlier this year, the Clipper organization discovered damage to our field house which stores equipment for our six youth programs. Apparently, individuals had gotten onto the roof and proceeded to damage the roof and pull down the gutters that surround the building. Because the destruction exposed the building to further damage and loss if not corrected immediately, the organization was tasked with finding $5,000 dollars to cover the unexpected expense. This was particularly challenging given the timing. We were not able to do any fundraising in the past year because of the pandemic.
When Camp SOAR heard about our challenge, they stepped in to cover the field house repairs. The Clipper organization and our families owe them a huge debt of gratitude! Without their generosity at this very critical time, the Clipper Fieldhouse and all the equipment it stores would have been in serious jeopardy. We thank the leaders at Camp SOAR for their support of Nazareth Clippers Athletic Association and wanted the Nazareth community to know about Camp SOAR’s generosity and the great work they do in our community.
